Jack Bruce Racing is seeking an experienced and motivated Racing Stable Foreperson to join our growing team at Eagle Farm, Queensland.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated racing professional to step into a leadership role within a progressive, well-organised and fast-growing stable.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Foreperson, you will play a key role in the daily operation and management of the stable. You will work closely with Jack Bruce and the senior team to ensure that horses, staff and stable operations run smoothly and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing daily horse management and care across the secure
Assisting with planning and coordinating horse movements, transport and race-day logistics
Leading, training and supporting staff to maintain a positive and productive workplace
Saddling, handling and supervising horses during morning trackwork and race days
Communicating effectively with trainers, staff, owners, vets and farriers
Ensuring all work health and safety standards are met





ABOUT YOU We are looking for someone who is proactive, organised and committed to excellence in horsemanship and leadership.

Essential Skills & Attributes:
Strong people and communication skills
Proven experience in horse handling, stable management and supervising staff
Sound understanding of racing industry operations and logistics
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-focused workplace
Reliability, professionalism and a positive attitude

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous foreperson experience is highly regarded
Stablehand or trackwork licences (or willingness to obtain)
