About the role
We are looking for a reliable, energetic and hands-on Cook to join our roadhouse kitchen. The role involves preparing and serving classic pub-style meals in a busy outback setting.
Key responsibilities
Preparing and cooking pub-style meals, including schnitzels, burgers, steaks and fish
Taking charge and delivering without constant direction/supervision
Delivery of functions up to 50 people
Stock rotation
Construct menus
Working within budget
Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene, including deep cleaning of fridges and freezers
Lead and train kitchen hand staff
About you
Have positive English communication skills
Have a minimum of 12 months kitchen experience as a cook
Be reliable, energetic and willing to work as part of a close-knit team
Be capable of active, hands-on duties, including lifting up to 20 kg
Bring a positive attitude
Be ready to relocate to the Northern Territory
