About the role

Join the team at Big River Pork as a Maintenance Fitter. This is a full-time position based in Murray Bridge, South Australia. As a Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment at our state-of-the-art pork processing facility.

What you'll be doing
Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of industrial machinery and equipment
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner
Interpret technical diagrams and schematics to identify and resolve problems
Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to ensure smooth operations
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and parts usage
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures

What we're looking for
Formal trade qualification as a Fitter, Turner or Machinist
Minimum 3 years' experience in an industrial maintenance role
Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex issues
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively
Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations




Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
