We are looking for a Trainer and Assessor for either ECEC, Individual Support, Ageing Support, or Community Services with experience in the industry to join the team The tasks include but are not limited to:
Delivering the training and assessments
Set up and/or run units of competency (UoC) in the learning management system for students/staff members in accordance with policy and procedure (i.e., protocol)
Obtain/maintain the currency of vocational competencies and industry experience
Create and maintain own HR matrix, PD plan and PD logbook in accordance with the college policies and procedures
Qualification, Experience and Skills Required:
Certificate III in Individual Support
Certificate IV in Ageing Support
Certificate III and Diploma of ECEC
Diploma of Community Services
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent (preferable)
Developed, implemented, and evaluated complex ideas for organisational learning and capability development.
Desirable Skills:
Demonstrated skills in the delivery and assessment of regulatory and competency-based training.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions and work assignments.
Ability to resolve and manage student complaints and students matters
Willing to learn the compliance and other applicable standards and legislation
Registration/Membership/licensing with regulatory facilities based on the qualification delivered.
Advanced to proficient skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Ability to effectively work within a diverse and multicultural workplace
An understanding of the standards for RTOs , including ESOS regulations framework for VET Providers and RTO regulation and relevant policies will be an advantage.
