Maintenance Electrician – Food Manufacturing

Permanent Full-Time Position | Afternoon Shift | Excellent Work-Life Balance RRC Australia is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing food manufacturing business seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Electrician to join their maintenance team.

This is a fantastic prospect for a trade-qualified electrician who enjoys hands-on maintenance work and has strong mechanical aptitude. While the role is primarily electrical, you'll also be involved in mechanical maintenance and equipment change-outs as required, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and working across multiple disciplines.

Monday to Thursday, 10:00am – 6:00pm
Friday 06:00am - 12:00pm

Key Responsibilities
Perform electrical preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on production and packaging equipment
Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently to minimise production downtime
Carry out electrical testing, inspections, and maintenance in accordance with site standards and regulations




Assist with mechanical maintenance, component replacements, and equipment change-outs as required
Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving equipment reliability and performance
Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to maximise plant uptime and operational efficiency

About You
Qualified Electrician with a current electrical licence
Previous maintenance experience within manufacturing, food production, FMCG, or a similar industrial environment
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to undertake mechanical maintenance tasks
Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
Reliable, proactive, and safety-focused approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
