TWO NEW DESIGN OPPORTUNITIES | DESIGNER + SENIOR DESIGNER | HURSTVILLE, SYDNEY

We are currently working on two design opportunities with a leading Australian retail business, and these are worth a look if you’re a commercially minded apparel designer.

There are prospects at both Designer and Senior Designer level , working across a diverse portfolio spanning workwear, safety, footwear and lifestyle apparel .

The business is increasingly focused on the crossover between workwear and lifestyle , with product that extends beyond the job site into everyday life, think hoodies, comfortable casual pieces, loungewear, after-work/tradie lifestyle and weekend product , alongside technical and performance-led workwear.

THE ROLES
Designer | $95–100K + Super

A hands-on chance for a Designer with strong product development experience who wants genuine ownership across the full product lifecycle. You’ll work across multiple brands and categories, taking product from concept through development and working closely with Garment Tech, Production, factories and fabric mills.
Senior Designer | $110–115K + Super

A broader creative and commercial remit, with responsibility for influencing design direction,



range development, brand positioning and product strategy , alongside mentoring more junior designers. WHAT THEY’RE LOOKING FOR The ideal candidate will have robust end-to-end apparel product development experience and be comfortable balancing creativity with commerciality.

THE BUSINESS This is a well-established Australian retail business with significant scale, a strong store network and a growing e-commerce presence. You’ll be joining a collaborative, relatively flat design environment where designers are given real ownership and autonomy across their product.
