Proquip is seeking a reliable and motivated Machine Detailer / Wash Bay Assistant to join our Yard Team in Ravenhall.
In this hands-on role, you will prepare machinery and attachments for hire, maintain a safe and organised yard, and support our customers and internal teams. This position suits someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in presentation and can work effectively in a fast-paced workplace.
Key responsibilities
Wash and detail machinery, attachments and cabins to company standards
Prepare equipment so it is clean and ready for hire
Safely operate and move machinery around the yard
Assist with loading and unloading customer and transport vehicles
Maintain a clean, protected and organised yard
Store tools and equipment safely and remove rubbish as required
Follow all quality, health, safety and environmental procedures
Support the Hire and Sales teams when required
Participate in workplace training

Willingness to complete a pre-employment police check and medical
Desirable but not essential
A current forklift licence with at least 12 months’ experience
Basic mechanical knowledge of earthmoving equipment
Familiarity with access equipment or the transport industry
