We are looking for an experienced Chef to join the growing kitchen team at Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel in Sydney.

Grounded on the sandy shoreline of one of Sydney's most iconic harbour beaches, Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel sings out to those in search of endless summers, postcard panoramas and our specialty: unhurried happiness.

Chilled afternoons chinking classes over seafood platters down by the waterfront; elegant escapes in our 32 light-bathed rooms and suites; and unforgettable parties raising the tempo under the stars. Blue harbour views by day, ultimate sunsets come dusk - this is beach life, the Watsons way.

Applicants must have robust experience in busy kitchens, be capable with rapid paced, high volume service, take pride in food presentation and be effective in a busy team environment.

Key Requirements are:
Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation
Manage and train kitchen staff,



establish working schedule and assess staff’s performance
Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately
Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintain a positive and qualified approach with co-workers and customers
Hard working and organized, team player with positive attitude
Ability to manage your own sections and deliver a consistently high standard of food throughout service
Take pride in food presentation, always ensuring top quality
Positive communication skills (verbal and written)
Food Hygiene compliance, knowledge and practices
Availability for rotating roster across Mon to Sun.
Job will require approx. 38 hrs per week.

Permanent Full Time role with $76K - $86K (plus super)
