You will work as a member of a small, dedicated team of staff and volunteers to provide services to the Ostomy Association of Melbourne's 9300 members. You will be the face and voice of the association, and as such will play an essential part in ensuring the team continues to offer a professional and friendly, quality service. This is a fast-paced setting requiring you to be able to multi-task.
Key responsibilities
Processing orders
Processing payments
Picking/packing orders
Receiving incoming goods
Dispatching outgoing goods
Liaising with members, carers and stomal therapy nurses
Answering queries from members (by phone or email)
General administrative tasks such as filing and scanning
Booking appointments for the in-house Stomal Therapy Nurse
Rostered coverage of reception
About you
Proven dedication to customer service and superior organisation skills
Experience working in a position with similar responsibilities
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
A warm personal approach which is positive, empathetic, helpful and able to work within a confidential setting
Solid organisational and prioritisation skills, while maintaining flexibility
Experience with data entry into existing software applications
About us The Ostomy Association of Melbourne is a not for profit association coordinating the distribution of products to members who have a stoma (colostomy, ileostomy or urostomy).
