About the role

You'll be responsible for getting the maximum productive output from our CNC routing operation while maintaining the quality our customers expect. This isn't a role where someone will stand over your shoulder telling you what job to run next. We want someone who can look at the workload, understand the priorities and own their day.

Key responsibilities
Setting up and operating CNC routers
Programming and preparing CNC jobs
Reading drawings and checking dimensions
Planning jobs to maximise machine utilisation
Preparing the next job while the current job is running
Selecting tooling, feeds and speeds appropriate to the material and job
Cutting acrylic, polycarbonate, HDPE, UHMWPE, acetal, nylon and other engineering plastics
Completing quality checks and maintaining high standards
Managing material efficiently and reducing unnecessary waste
Keeping your work area and machines organised

About you
Have solid CNC routing, machining or manufacturing experience
Understand CNC programming and machine setup
Can read technical drawings confidently
Have excellent time-management skills
Naturally plan ahead rather than waiting to be told what to do
Care about quality and getting things right




Can handle multiple jobs and changing priorities
Look after machinery as though it were your own
Work well independently
Want to improve, learn and progress your career
