About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Graduate Speech Pathologist to join a supportive team working with children and adults with disabilities.
This is an excellent chance for a new graduate looking to begin their professional career, develop practical clinical experience and make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct speech, language and communication assessments.
Develop individualised therapy and intervention plans.
Deliver evidence-based therapy to children and adults with disabilities.
Support clients with communication, speech, language and swallowing needs where appropriate.
Work collaboratively with families, carers and other allied health professionals.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation, reports and progress notes.
Support clients in achieving their communication and participation goals.
About You
To be considered, you will have:
A recognised qualification in Speech Pathology.
Eligibility for relevant professional recognition/membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
A genuine interest in working with children and adults with disabilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A client-centred, compassionate and professional approach.
Valid Australian working rights.
Ability to meet relevant screening requirements for working with children and people with disabilities.
Previous disability or NDIS experience is highly regarded but not essential for new graduates.
