Our client, is seeking an experienced Venue Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of their hospitality venue. This is a permanent, full time role offering a competitive salary of AUD$90,000 to AUD$110,000. You'll oversee a team of 20, manage rosters and stock, handle cash and banking, and ensure smooth operations from opening to close. This is a hands-on leadership position where your operational expertise and team management skills will directly shape the venue's success.
Lead and manage a team of 20 staff across rosters, training, and performance
Own all operational responsibilities including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and banking
Oversee a very busy events/function space with multiple events per week

Preferred Requirements
Proven experience managing hospitality venues or similar operational settings
Very solid organizational and time management skills




Expereience in a busy events space and managing multiple offerings at the same time
Solid team leadership and people management skills, with experience managing teams of 15 or more
Solid understanding of stock control, ordering, and stocktake procedures
Detailed in all aspects of ordering and stock control and understanding of catering/banqueting run sheets to ensure all items are on hand
Are very solid with all aspects of finanance and reporting as well as cash handling and reconciliations
Ability to manage rosters, scheduling, and day-to-day operational logistics

Preferred Qualifications
Hospitality management qualification or equivalent industry experience
RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification
Experience with venue management systems, booking systems and POS systems
