Job Description

Job Title: Speech Pathologist - FT/PT/Contractor - Clinic-Based/Community Location: Ballarat Job Type: Contractor - FT/PT Available Salary: $82-$100/hr We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Speech Pathologist to join our team as a Contractor. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a agile and supportive setting, helping clients achieve their communication and swallowing goals.

Responsibilities
n
n
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients with a range of communication and swallowing disorders, including but not limited to: speech sound disorders, language disorders, fluency disorders, voice disorders, cognitive communication disorders, and dysphagia.
n
Provide evidence-based interventions to support clients in achieving their communication and swallowing goals.
n
Collaborate with clients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care.
n
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client assessments,
treatment plans, and progress notes.
n
Participate in career development activities and keep up-to-date with current best practices and research in the field of speech pathology.
n

Requirements
n
n
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited university.
n
Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
n
Demonstrated experience in providing speech pathology services in a variety of settings.
n
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
n
Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
n
Current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel to client appointments.
n
