Job Description

Durack Civil is looking for a high-energy Fleet & Logistics Coordinator to work alongside the Plant Superintendent and help keep a large civil construction fleet moving. You'll be coordinating servicing, chasing parts, organising floats, speaking with suppliers, following up mechanics and helping solve logistical problems that come with operating a large fleet across multiple civil construction projects.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate servicing and maintenance of the light vehicle fleet
n
Order and chase plant, vehicle and workshop parts
n
Coordinate suppliers, mechanics and service providers
n
Organise floats and plant movements between projects
n
Assist with vehicle and plant registrations, servicing schedules and records
n
Track outstanding repairs, parts and maintenance requirements
n
Help coordinate breakdown responses and urgent parts
n




Assist the Plant Superintendent with the day-to-day running of the fleet
n
Stay on top of the detail and follow things through until they're done
n

High energy and exceptionally organised
n
Comfortable juggling a lot of moving pieces
n
Relentless with follow-up
n
Confident dealing with suppliers, mechanics, drivers and site teams
n
Practical and willing to jump in wherever required
n
Valuable on the phone and quick with systems
n
Calm when plans change
n
Experience in civil construction, transport, automotive, mechanical, fleet, logistics or plant hire would be highly regarded
