Our client is seeking a reliable and motivated Qualified Welder / Assembly Worker to join their manufacturing team in Yatala. This is a casual role offering full time hours (8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday), with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position after 6 months. Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you'll be involved in welding, assembly, fabrication support, and general production duties.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
MIG welding and fabrication work
n
Assembly of industrial products and equipment
n
Reading and interpreting workshop drawings
n
Measuring, cutting, drilling, grinding, and general workshop duties
n
Operating hand and power tools
n
Packing and preparing products for dispatch
n
Assisting with sandblasting, powder coating, and paint preparation
n
Maintaining a safe and organised work area
n

What You'll Need

n

n
Cert II Engineering (Welding) or Cert III Engineering (Fabrication Trade/Boilermaking)
n




Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, fabrication, metal mechanics, or carpentry
n
Strong MIG welding skills
n
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
n
LF Forklift Licence highly desirable
n
Driver's Licence and reliable transport
n
Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
n
Reliable work history and attention to detail
n
Reside within reasonable commuting distance of Yatala
n
