About the Role

We are looking for a Coordinator Revenue Services to join our local government client based in Yeppoon, QLD. You will support the Council's Financial Services team and oversee the effective day-to-day operation of Revenue Services.
Pay Rate: $69.89 per hour (incl casual loading)
Employment: Casual | 36.25 hours per week
Location: Yeppoon, QLD
Duration: Approx 3 months, with the possibility of extension
Start Date: Immediate start

Roles & Responsibilities
Lead, develop and manage the Revenue team to deliver high performance and operational effectiveness.
Oversee rating structures, revenue systems, billing, collections and compliance with legislation and Council policies.
Provide expert revenue and financial advice and respond to stakeholder enquiries, reports and correspondence.
Coordinate revenue policies, procedures, process improvements and financial reporting.
Support budgeting, annual financial reporting, audits,



reconciliations, strategic financial planning and internal controls.

About You
Demonstrated expertise in revenue accounting, rating legislation, debt recovery and financial policies and procedures.
Proven leadership and people management experience, with the ability to develop and motivate a team.
Robust analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide sound financial advice.
Excellent communication, consultation, negotiation and customer service skills.
Solid organisational skills and proficiency with financial and business systems.
Experience within a local government setting will be highly regarded.
