Job Description
Installation & Quality Control Technician
We are looking for a hands-on Installation & Quality Control Technician to join our installation team.
Our team specialises in the installation of lifts and hoists, and this role will be responsible for ensuring every installation is completed to a high standard before the job is signed off.
This is a practical, hands-on position suited to someone who takes genuine pride in their work and has a high level of attention to detail.
You will be responsible for the finishing touches, adjustments, troubleshooting and repairs required to ensure our completed installations are secure, functional and presented to a high standard.
Key responsibilities
Complete final inspections and quality control checks on completed lift and hoist installations.
Identify and rectify defects, faults, adjustments and outstanding installation issues.
Carry out finishing work to ensure installations meet required standards.
Perform electricaldisconnect/reconnectwork as required.
Assist the installation team with practical, hands-on tasks.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
Make adjustments and minor repairs to ensure equipment operates correctly.




Ensure all components, fittings and finishes are correctly installed and presented.
Work through installation checklists and ensure all required items are completed before handover.
Identify potential issues before equipment is handed over to the customer.
About you
Takes pride in producing high-quality workmanship.
Is practical, mechanically minded and enjoys hands-on work.
Can identify problems and work out practical solutions.
Is confident carrying out adjustments, repairs and finishing work.
Has the ability to work independently and take ownership of completing a job properly.
Can work effectively alongside an installation team.
Has good communication skills and a professional approach when working on customer sites.
Is safety conscious and follows procedures and standards.
Is reliable, organised and willing to travel between the workshop and field locations.
Understands that the final quality of an installation is their responsibility before the job is considered complete.
