About the Role
This role sits within the Core Systems Replacement (CSR)Program, a major transformation initiative to modernise Council's enterprisesystems.
The Integration Specialist is responsible for designing,developing and supporting system integrations across Council's coreapplications.
The role ensures seamless data exchange, system interoperability,and alignment with Council's enterprise architecture and integration strategy.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, vendorsand technical teams to deliver secure, scalable and efficient integrations thatsupport improved service delivery and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Design,develop and implement system integrations across Council platforms
Configureand manage integrations using platforms such as Azure IntegrationServices, Dell Boomi and FME
Supportthe delivery of integration components within the CSR program




Collaboratewith vendors and internal teams to define integration requirements andsolutions
Ensuredata integrity, security and governance across integrated systems
Monitorand troubleshoot integration performance and incidents
Developand maintain technical documentation, standards and integration patterns
Contributeto integration architecture, roadmap and continuous improvementinitiatives
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
Provenexperience in integration development and support within complexenvironments
Strongunderstanding of integration platforms, includingAzure IntegrationServices, Dell Boomi and/or FME
Experienceworking with APIs, data transformation, and system interoperability
Stronganalytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Abilityto work collaboratively with technical and business stakeholders
Excellentcommunication and documentation skills
Aproactive, adaptable and customer-focused approach
Key Selection Criteria
Please ensure you address the following in your application:
Demonstratedexperience with integration platforms such asAzure IntegrationServices, Dell Boomi, FME or similar
Experiencedesigning and implementing system integrations, APIs and data flows
Strongunderstanding of data structures, integration patterns and systemarchitecture
Experienceworking in project delivery environments, ideally within largetransformation programs
Abilityto manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strongstakeholder engagement and communication skills
You may be required to undertake practical testing,work preference profiling / psychometric testing, functional capacityassessment (physical) or aptitude testing.
The successful candidate will be asked to produce aclear Working with Children Check and will be asked to consent to a nationalpolice check (and where relevant an 'international criminal history check'),subject to the operation of spent conviction laws.
