Our client is a high-profile NSW Government organisation delivering a major technology and business transformation program.This is a long-term contract opportunity supporting a program centred around PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, with two Senior Business Analyst positions available across business enablement and reporting.Role Description:As an experienced Senior Business Analyst, you will work within a major transformation program, bridging business stakeholders, technology teams and change/capability functions to support successful delivery
One position will focus primarily onbusiness enablement and readiness, while the second will have a strongerreporting and datafocus.
Both positions require strong business analysis, requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
These arenot hands-on PeopleSoft development or integration roles; rather, the successful candidates will need sufficient technical understanding to work effectively across business and technology environments.
Responsibilities:
Business enablement & readiness:Support activities required to prepare business stakeholders for system and process changes
Requirements gathering:Engage with business stakeholders to understand, analyse and document business and operational requirements
Change & capability:Work closely with Change and Capability teams to develop materials, guidance and supporting resources
Stakeholder engagement:Work with teaching and non-teaching stakeholders and support workshops and engagement activities
Business process analysis:Understand complex business processes and translate technology changes into practical business outcomes
Reporting requirements:For the reporting stream, capture and analyse requirements for reports, dashboards and data-driven solutions




Data & reporting:Develop an understanding of PeopleSoft data and data models and translate business requirements for technical/development teams
Power BI:Support reporting and dashboard requirements from a business analysis perspective
Technical collaboration:Work with developers and technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered
Documentation:Develop clear business requirements, process documentation, guides and supporting materials
User-centred delivery:Ensure solutions meet the needs of end users and business stakeholders
Team collaboration:Work collaboratively across project, technology, change and business teams within a large-scale transformation setting
Skills and Experience:
Extensive experience working as aSenior Business Analystacross complex technology, transformation or implementation programs
Strong requirements gathering, analysis and documentation capabilities
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Experience working across business, technology and change/capability teams
Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate complex requirements into practical outcomes
PeopleSoft experience highly desirable, particularlyPeopleSoft Campus Solutions
Experience with other PeopleSoft modules will also be considered
Experience withstudent management systemsor comparable large-scale technology platforms is desirable




For the reporting stream, experience withreporting requirements, data models, dashboards and/or Power BIis highly desirable
Ability to work effectively with technical teams without requiring hands-on development or integration expertise
Experience supporting business readiness, change, training, workshops or user enablement is advantageous
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a cross-functional delivery team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Flexibility and adaptability within a fast-moving government program
Contract Details:
Contract:ASAP – 30 June ****
Rate:Up to$745/day-highly negotiable
Location:Ultimo /Parramatta/Meadowbank Sydney
Work Arrangement:Hybrid – approximately 3 days per week in the office
