About the Role
n
We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to support a major decarbonisation program involving renewable energy infrastructure, electrification initiatives, battery-electric mining fleets, OEM development programs and operational transition activities.
n
This role will be responsible for developing, maintaining and optimising integrated project schedules across a diverse portfolio of capital projects, ensuring successful delivery from concept and engineering through to commissioning, operational readiness and handover.
n
Working within a high-performing project services team, you will collaborate closely with project delivery, engineering, procurement, operations, contractors and OEM partners to provide schedule leadership, performance analysis and project controls support.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Develop and maintain integrated master schedules and detailed project schedules across multiple decarbonisation projects.
n
Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, fleet readiness and operational transition activities within portfolio schedules.
n
Develop resource, commodity and cost-loaded schedules.
n
Perform critical path analysis, milestone tracking and "what-if" scenario planning.
n
Maintain schedule integrity through logic reviews, schedule health checks and planning best practices.
n
Implement Earned Value Management (EVM) and analyse schedule performance,



including CPI and SPI reporting.
n
Review and integrate contractor, supplier and OEM schedules into master project programs.
n
Identify schedule risks, opportunities and emerging trends, providing proactive recommendations to project teams.
n
Prepare weekly and monthly progress, performance and forecasting reports.
n
Participate in schedule reviews, risk workshops, change management processes and capital planning activities.

About You
n
Essential Experience
n
n
Minimum 10 years' experience in project planning and scheduling.
n
Proven client-side experience across the full project lifecycle, from concept through to execution and handover.
n
Experience supporting major capital projects within mining, resources, energy, infrastructure or industrial sectors.
n
Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling methodologies and project governance.
n
Demonstrated experience integrating multiple contractor, supplier and operational schedules.
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
n
Ability to work autonomously and effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
n
Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
n
n




Technical Skills
n
n
Advanced Primavera P6 experience.
n
Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.
n
Experience using Power BI or similar reporting and business intelligence tools.
n
Sound understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and performance reporting.
n
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
n
n
Desirable Qualifications
n
n
Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
n
Project Controls, Planning or Scheduling certification.
n
Experience in mining fleet electrification, OEM programs or decarbonisation initiatives.
n
n
