Job Description
Mechanical Vegetation Solutions (MVS) is seeking an experienced WHSE Lead to oversee and continually improve MVS's integrated management systems, including ISO ****, ISO ***** and ISO *****. Reporting to the General Manager, this is a hands-on role working closely with management and operational teams to ensure WHSE systems are practical, effective and embedded across the business. The successful candidate will be proactive, solutions-focused and confident working across both office and field environments.

Key responsibilities
n
Plan and conduct internal audits, inspections and verification activities.
n
Manage corrective actions, non-conformances and observations through our WHS system.
n
Lead incident investigations and support the implementation of corrective actions.
n
Develop and review risk assessments, SWMS, policies, procedures and project documentation.
n
Coordinate employee inductions, training, licences and competency verification.
n
Manage first aid requirements across worksites and operational crews.
n
Coordinate Return to Work activities and liaise with employees, management and relevant providers.
n




Identify opportunities for improvement and lead WHSE improvement initiatives.
n
Provide practical WHSE advice and support to operational teams.
n
Support the business to maintain its ISO certifications and meet regulatory requirements.

About you
n
Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or higher.
n
Return to Work Coordinator training.
n
Sound knowledge of ISO ****, ISO ***** and ISO *****.
n
Demonstrated experience conducting audits and workplace inspections.
n
Experience leading incident investigations.
n
Strong organisational and time management skills.
n
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
n
Ability to manage competing priorities.
n
White Card (CPCCWHS****).
