Job Description
Speech Pathologist | South-East Perth | Private Practice | Full-time or Part-time All-ages caseload
n
We are hiring for a well-established private practice in Perth's south-east to appoint a Speech Pathologist to their multidisciplinary team. The practice has built a strong local reputation over several years, has a steady stream of referrals, and offers the kind of environment where clinicians tend to stay — supportive leadership, sensible caseloads and colleagues who genuinely enjoy working together.
n
About the role
n
You'll see clients across the lifespan — paediatric through to adult and older-adult — working across communication and swallowing. The caseload is genuinely diverse, so you can lean into your areas of clinical interest while broadening your skills in others. Sessions are a mix of clinic, community and telehealth.
n
Day to day, you will:
n
n
Complete comprehensive assessments for speech, language, voice, fluency and dysphagia
n
Develop individualised, evidence-based treatment plans in partnership with clients and families
n
Deliver 1:1 intervention, and group sessions where clinically indicated
n
Collaborate with the in-house multidisciplinary team and external treating clinicians
n
Maintain clinical documentation and complete NDIS,
Medicare and DVA reporting as required
n
Provide education and coaching to families, carers and support workers
n
n
What is on offer:
n
n
Above-award remuneration, negotiable on experience
n
Generous PD budget, paid study leave and internal case-review sessions
n
Structured supervision — genuine mentoring for early-career SPs, and peer support for senior clinicians
n
Admin, billing and NDIS claims support so your day stays clinical
n
Flexible hours — ******* FTE, compressed weeks and school-hours arrangements all considered
n
Contemporary, purpose-built clinic with a full assessment and therapy resource library
n
Employee Assistance Program and a genuinely collegial team culture
n
n
About you:
n
n
Speech Pathology Australia (CPSP) eligible or certified
n
Experience assessing and treating communication and/or swallowing disorders — new graduates with strong placement experience are welcome to apply
n
Comfortable across paediatric and adult caseloads (or keen to broaden into one)
n
Strong clinical reasoning, documentation and interpersonal skills
n
Current WA driver's licence and reliable vehicle
n
WWCC and NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain)
