FinXL is seeking a Network Engineer - NV1 to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Telco client on a key transformation engagement.

Responsibilities
n
n
Deliver end-to-end Cisco routing and switching solutions across complex network infrastructure.
n
Design, configure, and maintain high-performing enterprise routing architectures.
n
Implement robust enterprise switching protocols to maintain continuous service delivery.
n
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve advanced network performance issues and incidents.
n
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support network upgrades and changes.
n
Ensure strict adherence to government security protocols and network architecture standards.
n




Maintain accurate network documentation, topology maps, and procedural guidelines.
n

Key Skills & Experience
n
n
Must hold an active Australian Government NV1 (Negative Vetting 1) Security Clearance.
n
Strong hands-on engineering experience in Cisco routing and switching technologies.
n
Proven expertise configuring standard routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
n
Deep technical understanding of switching frameworks (VLANs, STP, EtherChannel).
n
Demonstrated experience working within large-scale Telecommunications or Enterprise networks.
n
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills for complex network operational issues.
n
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent experience).
