Hours & Roster Details:
Employment Type: Full-Time Fixed Term starting 05 October **** and ending 22 August ****
Hours: Average 32 hours per week or 256hrs over 8 weeks
Shift Time: Mix of 6:45am - 15:15pm and 14:45pm - 23:00pm
Roster Pattern: 2 Week Roster Rotation Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday Week 2 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Sunday
The purpose of this job
Bupa Riverstone Care Home is a modern, purpose-built aged care home located in Kelvin Grove, Palmerston North.
The care home provides rest home, hospital, and dementia care.
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality clinical care to residents across rest home, hospital or psychogeriatric settings.




You'll deliver person-centred care aligned with Nursing Council of Current Zealand competencies, ensuring residents' wellbeing, dignity and safety while supporting their individual needs
Success in this role looks like leading care delivery, embracing new care product innovations, and making clinical decisions while delivering safe, evidence-based care
You will excel at building strong relationships with residents and whānau, while actively contributing to continuous quality improvement
What you'll need to make it possible
Current Nursing Council of New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate
NZ aged care experience preferred; other RN backgrounds considered
Demonstrated improvements in care plans, assessments and documentation quality
Identifies health changes early and acts to ensure safety
Communicates effectively with residents, whānau, teams and providers
Maintains clinical standards, accurate documentation and quality improvement
Confident using clinical systems, records and reporting tools.
