About the Role
n
Reporting to the Area Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of the Mandurah Concrete Plant, ensuring production, safety, quality, and customer service targets are consistently achieved.
n
As a hands-on leader, you'll create a positive team culture, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure the plant operates safely, efficiently, and effectively every day.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Leading daily concrete plant operations and production activities.
n
Batching concrete orders accurately using automated systems.
n
Coordinating deliveries to meet customer schedules and expectations.
n
Championing workplace safety through toolbox talks, pre-starts, and safe work practices.
n
Managing production schedules, stock control, and operational reporting.
n
Building strong relationships with customers, drivers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
n
Coordinating plant maintenance and conducting regular site inspections.
n
Ensuring compliance with Boral's safety, environmental, and quality standards.
n
Maintaining a clean, organised, and high-performing work environment.
n

What You'll Bring
n
n
Experience within concrete, manufacturing, quarrying, construction, logistics, or a similar operational environment.
n
Proven leadership or supervisory experience with a focus on developing and supporting teams.
n
A strong commitment to safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
n
Sound computer skills and experience with production or reporting systems.
n
The ability to work autonomously while driving team performance.
n
A proactive, customer-focused approach and problem-solving mindset.
n

Desirable
n
n
Previous concrete batching experience.
n
HR Driver's Licence.
n
Front End Loader (FEL) ticket or mobile plant experience.
n
Knowledge of plant maintenance and preventative maintenance programs.
n
