About the Opportunity
n
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced EL2 Program Architect to play a critical leadership role within a major digital transformation and fraud prevention program supporting a nationally significant initiative.
n
Reporting at the executive leadership level, you will provide strategic architectural oversight across a complex portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment between business objectives, enterprise architecture, cyber security requirements, and technology delivery outcomes.
n
This role offers the chance to shape enterprise-scale architecture roadmaps, influence strategic decision-making, and mentor a team of highly skilled solution and cyber architects while contributing to innovative digital services, data platforms, and compliance capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
n
As the EL2 Program Architect, you will:
n
n
Develop and maintain an integrated program architecture roadmap that brings together multiple solution and cyber architecture designs.
n
Provide a holistic architectural view across a complex project portfolio, identifying dependencies, integration points, and delivery risks.
n
Partner closely with Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure alignment with organisational strategies, standards, policies, principles, and roadmaps.
n
Lead architectural governance activities, facilitating design reviews and technical decision-making forums.
n
Provide mentoring, coaching, and quality assurance support to experienced Solution and Cyber Architects.
n




Deliver high-quality solution architecture designs that are scalable, secure, and aligned to business outcomes.
n
Provide strategic leadership and expert advice on architecture and cyber security strategy.
n
Collaborate with senior business leaders and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of program objectives.
n
Maintain technical oversight across project delivery and assist in resolving complex architectural challenges.
n
Present architecture solutions and recommendations to governance boards and executive stakeholders for approval.

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
n
n
Extensive experience in enterprise, program, or solution architecture within large and complex environments.
n
Robust understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, governance, and design principles.
n
Proven experience leading architecture activities across large-scale digital transformation programs.
n
Experience mentoring and guiding Solution Architects and Cyber Architects.
n
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence executive-level decision-making.
n
Demonstrated experience delivering architecture outcomes across data platforms, digital services, portals, and integration programs.
n
Strong knowledge of security, risk, compliance, and architectural best practices.
n
Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
n

Desirable Experience

Highly regarded experience includes:

Government or public sector experience.

Fraud detection, compliance, integrity, or risk management programs.

Complex data and analytics platforms.
