The Role
n
Reporting to the Electrical Foreman, and indirectly into Electrical Operations & Projects, this Industrial Electrician will play a key role within a busy Electrical Workshop, supporting the site's engineering and production functions. This is a hands‐on trade role suited to a licensed Electrician who enjoys variety, works well within an established team, and is looking for a genuinely reliable, long‐term position.

Responsibilities

Carrying out electrical maintenance, fault‐finding and repairs across site
n
Supporting installation and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems
n
Working on switchboards, motors, drives and control systems
n
Assisting with electrical project work alongside the Operations & Projects team
n
Liaising closely with the Mechanical Workshop and broader Engineering team
n
Ensuring all work is completed in line with safety, quality and compliance standards
n
Maintaining accurate documentation and job records
n
Troubleshooting technical issues as they arise on the workshop floor
n
Working collaboratively within a rotating shift roster
n

About You
n
n
A trade qualification as an Electrician (Level 1 or equivalent), with a current electrical license
n




Proven experience in an industrial, manufacturing or engineering environment
n
Strong fault‐finding, maintenance and installation capability
n
Sound understanding of switchboards, motors, drives and control systems
n
A strong safety mindset and attention to compliance
n
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a close‐knit team
n
Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern
n
A track record of strong tenure and stability in previous roles
n
A team‐player attitude - easy going, coachable and open to direction from the Foreman and senior technical staff
n
n
Experience within mining services, heavy industry or conveyor/materials handling environments will be highly regarded.
n
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who wants to settle into a stable, long‐term role within a supportive team, rather than someone chasing short‐term or project‐based work.

Meal Allowance - $***** per occasion

Tool Allowance - $***** per week

Site Allowance - $90 gross per night when chargeable
n
38 hours across a 4‐day work week (rotating Mon-Thu / Tue-Fri roster)
