This locally owned and operated private podiatry clinic is located in beautiful Boyne Island, Queensland. Established in ****, the clinic employs three podiatrists and provides a supportive, collaborative environment with an interesting and varied caseload.
n
The modern clinic is supported by in-store footwear sales and 3D orthotic scanning, with close referral relationships with local physiotherapists and GPs. Services include custom supramalleolar devices, nail surgery, DVA, NDIS and GPMP services, Doppler ABI/TBI assessment, video gait assessment and 3D scanning for orthotic prescription.

The clinic also sees a high volume of paediatric patients due to the local population and strong sporting community, creating excellent opportunities to develop skills across a broad range of clinical areas.

Position Description
n
This practice is seeking a Podiatrist of any experience level, with both experienced clinicians and new graduates encouraged to apply.
n




The successful candidate will work across a diverse caseload while being supported to develop clinical skills, confidence and independence. The role offers exposure to general, sports, paediatric, biomechanical and orthotic podiatry within a supportive team setting.

New graduates and overseas-trained podiatrists transitioning into Australian practice will receive comprehensive support including:

Structured 12-month mentoring and professional development plan
n
Gradual increase in clinical responsibility and caseload complexity
n
Ongoing access to a Senior Podiatrist for clinical discussion and support
n
Weekly mentoring and case review meetings
n
Regular in-house CPD and clinical education
n
Training in running footwear assessment and prescription
n
Training in dermoscopy
n
Training in Ritchie Brace prescription
n
Training in SMO prescription
n
Longer consultation times to support learning and clinical reasoning
n
Access to established referral and support networks
n

Experienced clinicians will receive:

Minimum 30-minute appointments
n
60-minute biomechanical assessments
n
Weekly team meetings
n
Support to structure CPD and clinical interests
n
Access to strong referral networks
n




Flexibility to tailor their caseload and professional development

The practice supports quality podiatry care through longer appointment times, paid paperwork breaks, full reception support and flexible working arrangements.

Position Requirements
n
n
Bachelor of Health Science (Podiatry) or equivalent
n
Current AHPRA registration
n
Relevant industry registrations and professional indemnity insurance
n
Current driver's licence
n
n
New graduates are encouraged to apply. Experience across all areas of podiatry is beneficial but not essential, with training and mentoring provided to the right applicant.
