The Opportunity
n
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Accountant to join our Finance team. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of multiple entities across the IntoWork Group.
n
This is an exciting opportunity for a CPA/CA qualified accountant who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, partnering with stakeholders, and contributing to strategic business outcomes.
n
The role is based in Scarborough, QLD, with flexibility to work from other Brisbane office locations and enjoy a hybrid work arrangement.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Prepare monthly management and board reporting packs, including financial commentary
n
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
n
Complete balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger journal entries
n
Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies and ledger issues
n
Provide financial insights and support to business leaders and managers
n
Support year-end audit processes and statutory reporting requirements
n
Prepare and lodge BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax, FBT, WorkCover and other financial submissions
n
Maintain fixed asset registers and ensure compliance with accounting standards
n
Develop financial models, reporting tools, and data analysis to support business decisions
n
Contribute to process improvement initiatives and strengthen internal controls
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
n
n
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline
n
CPA or CA qualification (or close to completion)
n
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar accounting role
n
Strong financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance experience
n
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
n
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
n
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities
n
Commercial acumen and the ability to understand key business drivers
n
n
Highly regarded
n
n
Experience within labour hire, group training, not-for-profit, employment services, or disability services environments
n
Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics and Solver reporting systems
n
n
