The Liberal National Party (LNP) is currently seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team in Brisbane. This is a full-time position.
n
Duties & Responsibilities
n
n
Receive, review and prepare invoices in readiness for processing into MYOB Advanced, including ensuring the invoice details are in line with LNP policy and procedures.
n
Process payments by electronic transfer to ensure timely receipt by creditors.
n
Perform reconciliation of payment amounts with supplier statements.
n
Maintain the records of accounts payable and receivable by filing all source documents.
n
Assist with the completion of receipting on a daily basis.
n
Process deposits into MYOB Advanced and ensure details are recorded correctly.
n
Ensure donor details are recorded correctly in line with electoral legislation.
n
Assist with the corporate online banking needs of Party Unit users.
n
Prepare reports and other documentation for management when requested.
n

Qualifications, skills and experience
n
n
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
n
Positive numeracy skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
n




Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, determine priorities and organise work to meet objectives
n
Knowledge of GST requirements.
n
Experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite of products.
n
A sound knowledge of Excel.
n
Experience in processing accounts payable and general ledger transactions.
n
Qualification in a finance related field, or working towards is desirable, but not required.
