Our Intensive Care department is looking for a friendly Ward Clerk to join their team on a full time basis.
n
Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
n
n
Manage a busy reception desk answering and redirecting calls
n
Organise Radiology and other appointments for patients.
n
Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical records
n
Perform Health Fund Checks as required.
n
Data Entry
n
Acute care certificates and uploading the same on WebPass
n
n

Ability to work autonomously and as a team member in a small team environment

Ability to work within deadlines

The hospital has 11 theatres including a hybrid theatre and a 15 bed Intensive Care Unit.

A private maternity suite including6 birthing suites and a special care baby nursery isavailable for families in the Newcastle region. Newcastle Private Oncology Centre provides specialty care for individuals and their families/carers undergoing all aspects of cancer treatment and care with both an inpatient unit and day infusion lounge.
