Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Manager / Director to join its growing professional services team based in Melbourne. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an ambitious accounting skilled looking to take the next step in their career, offering a salary of $130,000–$150,000 + superannuation + bonus.

The role offers the opportunity to manage a client portfolio, lead and mentor a team, contribute to business growth, and work closely with Directors. A genuine pathway towards equity and ownership is available for the right candidate.

What you'll be doing:
n
n
Managing and developing a portfolio of business and individual clients
n
Providing accounting, taxation and business advisory services
n
Reviewing financial statements, tax returns and management reports
n
Providing strategic advice across taxation, business structures, cash flow and budgeting
n
Managing client engagements, workflow, deadlines and quality standards
n
Leading, mentoring and developing accounting staff
n
Supporting recruitment and team development
n
Working with Directors on strategic and operational matters
n




Building strong client relationships and identifying business development opportunities
n
n
What you'll need:
n
n
8–10 years of experience in accounting, taxation, business advisory or professional services
n
Strong Australian public practice experience
n
CA or CPA qualification preferred
n
Strong technical knowledge across taxation, accounting and business advisory
n
Proven experience managing a client portfolio and reviewing complex accounting work
n
Strong leadership, commercial and client relationship skills
n
Experience mentoring and developing accounting staff
n
Excellent communication and organisational skills
n
