About therole:

Are youready to make a real difference in the lives of young people? We'reon the lookout for a Youth Access Worker to become a vital part ofour dedicated headspace Emerald team.
n
As thefirst point of contact for young people accessing our services,you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming,
supportiveenvironment.
You'll conduct initial psychosocial
assessments,collaborate
with our multi-disciplinary team, and help guide eachyoung person towards care and support they need.
n
Whatwill a typical day look like?
n
n
Monitor and
conductpsychosocial
assessments on headspace Emerald young people toascertain social, emotional, and mental healthneeds.
n
Deliver evidencebased brief interventions, including group interventions andproblem solving with young people and theirfamilies.
n
Provide aninclusive practice that values the significance of family andfriends.
n
Attend andcontribute to regular Care Coordination ReviewMeetings.
n
Assist and provideappropriate and timely referrals for a range of treatments andservices offered by headspace Emerald's partners,
PrivatePractitioners,
and other key agencies.
n

MandatoryRequirements:
n
n
Diploma in SocialWork, Mental Health, Psychology, Occupational Therapy orrelevant.
n
