We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our warehouse and dispatch operations. You will work in a fast-paced workplace, prioritizing accuracy, efficiency, and safety.

Responsibilities
n

Safely operate forklifts, including counterbalance and high reach trucks, to transport, stack, and organize goods.
n
Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring goods are handled with care and accuracy.
n
Prepare goods for dispatch, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and documentation are completed.
n
Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and promptly report any equipment issues or safety concerns.
n
Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
n
Assist in general warehouse tasks as needed, such as inventory checks, organizing storage spaces, and cleaning up work areas.

Qualifications

Proven experience in forklift operation, including both counterbalance and high reach trucks (valid forklift license required).
n
Knowledge of warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and preparing goods for dispatch.
n




Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
n
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
n
Commitment to following safety protocols and maintaining a safe workplace.

Physically fit and capable of performing tasks that may involve lifting and moving heavy items.
n
Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment is preferred.

Day-to-Day
n

Start your day with a safety briefing and equipment inspection to ensure forklifts are in good working condition.
n
Coordinate with team members to prioritize tasks and plan day-to-day operations.
n
Operate forklifts to load and unload trucks, move goods to designated storage areas, and prepare shipments for dispatch.
n
Conduct quality control checks to ensure orders are accurate and materials are in good condition.
n
Work collaboratively with warehouse staff to meet deadlines and ensure operational efficiency.
n
Wrap up your day by updating inventory records, performing a final equipment check, and ensuring your workspace is clean and organized.
