We're currently recruiting for an established manufacturing organisation based in Narangba that is looking to bring an experienced HSEQ Coordinator into their team.

Work closely with operational leaders, project managers and site supervisors

Have genuine influence over safety culture and compliance

A varied role combining site-based HSEQ activities with systems, reporting and improvement

Full-time position based in Narangba
n
n
As the HSEQ Coordinator, you'll be responsible for supporting and strengthening HSEQ practices across the organisation.
n
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
n
n
Developing and maintaining HSEQ policies, procedures and SWMS
n
Conducting workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments
n
Identifying hazards and implementing effective control measures
n
Providing HSEQ guidance, training and support to operational teams




n
Managing incident and near-miss investigations
n
Driving corrective and preventative actions
n
Monitoring compliance with relevant WHS and environmental legislation
n
Maintaining HSEQ documentation, records and reporting
n
Tracking HSEQ performance and key metrics
n
Working closely with site and project teams to continuously improve safety outcomes
n
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
A relevant tertiary qualification in HSEQ, WHS, Environmental Management or a related discipline
n
3+ years' experience in an HSEQ Coordinator or similar position
n
Experience within manufacturing, construction or another industrial setting
n
Strong knowledge of WHS and environmental legislation
n
Experience with audits, inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations
n
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
n
Confidence working with both operational and management teams
n
Experience using HSEQ systems and reporting tools
n
A practical, proactive approach to workplace safety
