The Prospect
n
Reporting directly to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will focus on providing electrical engineering expertise to the maintenance and operations functions on all fixed plant equipment, supporting the Wodgina Lithium operation.
n
This position will commence on an 8D6X roster flying from Perth.
n
Key responsibilities:
n
n
Provide specialist engineering support for fixed plant electrical systems and equipment.
n
Develop and implement maintenance strategies for optimal equipment performance.
n
Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve equipment failures, ensuring minimum downtime.
n
Manage and oversee contractor works in accordance with site procedures.
n
Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations, including site safety and environmental requirements.
n
Participate in project commissioning, upgrades, and modifications as required.
n
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and root cause analysis.
n

What is Required:




n
n
Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent recognised qualification.
n
WA Electrical Worker's Licence (highly regarded).
n
Previous experience in a similar role within mining, resources, or heavy industry—fixed plant exposure essential.
n
Strong knowledge of electrical design, maintenance, and troubleshooting in mineral processing environments.
n
Commitment to safe work practices, strong communication and leadership skills.
n
Demonstrated experience with relevant statutory compliance and safety regulations.
n
High level of teamwork, problem-solving, and organisational ability.
