The Opportunity
n
We have an opportunity for a skilled and empathetic Physiotherapist to join our dynamic and expanding team in a Full Time or Part Time capacity (8:00am-4:00pm), enabling wellbeing and quality of life for older people in care and living independently. Help clients achieve improved mobility, pain relief, and a better quality of life, and enjoy growing in a supportive team focused on service that is person-centred, best practice and continuously improving.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Conducting assessments of residents' physical conditions and functional abilities
n
Developing and evaluating resident care plans and formulating functional health assessments for new residents
n
Developing evidence-based treatment plans and coordinating client reablement programs and therapy plans
n




Implementation and management of falls prevention strategies
n
Practicing in community care, extending physiotherapy expertise beyond our facilities to support the broader community
n
Managing private physiotherapy services, offering specialised physiotherapy care to individuals seeking personalised treatment
n
Conducting pre-employment assessments for current staff to evaluate their physical capabilities and recommending adjustments or accommodations as needed
n
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care planning, including case conferences and care planning meetings
n

Relevant AHPRA (general) registration. New Grads welcome to apply!

Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
n
Caring and compassionate attitude

Excellent clinical reasoning skills, with a desire to achieve results

Effective time management and organisational skills
n
Sound knowledge of WHS and manual handling practices
n
Willingness and ability to travel to clients in the community
n
NDIS Worker Check Clearance, and a pre-employment physiotherapy assessment during recruitment process.
