Job Description
Protech is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a major Solar Farm project based in Mokoan, Victoria. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale renewable energy project with an immediate start available.

We are looking for a hands-on leader with robust technical capability across solar farm construction and electrical infrastructure who can effectively coordinate contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Supervise and coordinate electrical construction activities across the solar farm project.
n
Provide technical oversight across MV, DC and SCADA systems.
n
Monitor and ensure compliance of electrical and civil interfaces, including trenching and conduit installation.
n
Liaise with internal engineering teams, project managers, and external consultants.
n
Resolve design challenges and respond to technical queries raised by contractors.
n
Manage electrical subcontractors, including:
n
Progress monitoring
n
Performance management
n
Quality Assurance (QA)
n
Reporting and documentation
n
Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications.
n
Review and interpret technical reports, drawings,



and instructions.
n

Essential Skills & Experience
n
n
Previous experience working on renewable energy or solar farm projects.
n
Solid technical knowledge of Medium Voltage (MV), DC systems, and SCADA controls.
n
Understanding of civil construction requirements, particularly trenching and conduit compliance.
n
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
n
Experience coordinating contractors and supervising electrical packages of work.
n
Ability to interpret technical documentation, drawings, and reports.
n
Strong computer and reporting skills.
n

Highly Desirable ("Perfect World" Experience)
n
n
Experience working with Ingeteam Inverters.
n
Solar farm or renewable energy commissioning experience.
n
Previous involvement in project design phases, with an understanding of plant design and construction integration.
n
