Job Description
Austin racing is seeking a foreman / senior ground staff to join our team.
n
Preferably has previous experience as a foreman or head reliable hand, however there is plenty of room for progression for the right person.
n
Your role:
n
n
Oversee daily stable operations, including;
n
Supervising staff and delegating workloads
n
Overseeing horse care and presentation
n
Monitoring horse health and reporting any issues
n
Attending races/trials
n
liaising with vets/farriers
n
n
What we're looking for:
n
Proven experience in a senior stable role, strong horse handling/knowledge and leadership, excellent communication / organisational skills, and high attention to detail and care.
n
The right applicant will work closely with the trainer and racing manager and lead a team of staff to ensure the best possible care and potential outcomes for our horses.
