These roles are permanent part time contracts, 60 & 40/fortnight contract available.
n
The internal job title for this role is (insert job title).

As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
n
Candidates who progress beyond the initial review stage will be invited to participate in a group interview on Thursday, 17 September ****.

About this work area
n
As a Sales Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
n
n
Engaging and assist customers in understanding their needs and providing your knowledge on IKEA products and services to support their purchasing decisions.
n
Actively participating in selling products with a positive attitude and contribute to business goals and growth.
n
Being an expert and passionate about the IKEA product range; and actively learning about their features and benefits.
n
Responsible for ensuring that the sales area is stocked, presentable, attractively merchandised and correctly priced.
n
Assembling our products according to proper building and enclosed instructions to ensure complete functionality.
n
Building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
n

As a Sales Co-worker you are or have:
n
n
Passionate about home furnishings and appreciator of quality focusing on maintaining a high level of product knowledge and sharing the IKEA product range with customers.
n
A strong customer-focused mindset, always striving to deliver a memorable shopping experience.
n
A 'Togetherness' mindset with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
n
Ability to prioritise tasks in a quick-paced environment and manage your own tasks.
n
Clear and concise communication skills, a keen eye for detail and strong problem‐solving skills.
n
Proficient computer skills and an ability to learn about all technical aspects of the IKEA IT systems and tools.
n
A safe mindset and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling including repetitive movements and lifting.
