Senior Payroll Officer

$120,000 - $130,000 + Super | Chatswood, 2 Days WFH & Free Parking

THE ROLE
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
End‐to‐end fortnightly payroll processing using iChris
n
Month‐end payroll accounting and reconciliations
n
Responding to payroll queries and liaising with internal stakeholders
n
Identifying and implementing process improvements
n
Confidently challenging processes with curiosity while maintaining BAU
n
Supporting payroll projects, testing, UAT and process improvement initiatives
n
Working closely with HR, Finance and operational stakeholders
n
Identifying opportunities to automate and streamline payroll workflows
n
Award and Enterprise Agreement interpretation
n
Complex payroll calculations, back pays and adjustments
n

THE PERSON
n
To be successful in this role you will have:
n
n
Currently in a Senior Payroll Officer looking to step up your career to be more involved in Projects and process improvements
n
iChris & Kronos / UKG experience highly desired
n
Excellent communication skills, integrity and professionalism
n
A proactive, process‐improvement mindset
n
Strong understanding of Awards and Enterprise Agreements and payroll compliance
n
Positive, proactive and collaborative approach
n
Experience with payroll projects, implementations highly desired
