About the Role

Due to our ongoing growth, we've created a new position for a Distribution Planner to join our team and support the Customer Operations department. This is a great opportunity to work within a dynamic FMCG business and build strong relationships with all our delivery partners.
n
This is a full-time role based at our Carrum Downs office, working a 9-day fortnight - 5:00am to 2:00pm, Monday to Friday, with every second Friday off (with potential for a later start down the track).

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Optimise driver runs - plan and adjust routes, cover contingencies, arrange relief/replacement deliveries
n
Schedule deliveries - set start/unloading times, ensure correct labels and orders go out on time
n
Manage delivery partners - maintain relationships with drivers/couriers, spot-check dock behaviour
n
Resolve issues - handle delivery complaints and update
customers/stakeholders
n
Ensure compliance - keep records up to date, run regular partner reviews
n

About You
n
n




2-3 years' experience in a Customer Service oriented role
n
Experience in logistics, supply chain or fleet allocation highly desirable but not essential
n
Excel & over robust computer skills required
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a keen eye for detail
n
Ability to manage priorities and work autonomously to meet tight deadlines
n
Able to problem solve
n
