We are seeking an experienced and motivated Japanese Restaurant Cook to join our busy and growing team in Mount Isa, Queensland. This is a full-time position suited to a passionate hospitality professional with strong experience in Japanese cuisine, particularly sushi and hot food preparation.

Key Responsibilities
n

Prepare and cook a variety of Japanese dishes, including sushi, sashimi and hot meals
n
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
n
Assist with menu planning and development
n
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies
n
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health standards
n
Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
n




Collaborate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
n

Requirements
n
n
Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification
n
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Cook in a Japanese restaurant environment
n
Strong knowledge of Japanese cooking techniques and food preparation
n
Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
n
Strong teamwork and communication skills
