Lead and empower a diverse, high-performing power systems team
n
Guide specialists connecting renewable generation, storage, and hybrid projects to the NEM
n
Provide grid advisory services covering connection strategy, generator performance standards, system strength, and registration
n
Oversee power system modelling using PSS®E, PSCAD, PowerFactory, and OEM models
n
Coach team members and build technical capability and confidence
n
Collaborate with engineering, commercial, digital, advisory, and environmental teams
n
Refine modelling approaches and champion quality and continuous improvement
n
Mentor team members and promote inclusive practices
n
Contribute to business development through relationship-building
n
Build a high-performing power systems team through strategic recruitment and development of in-house talent
n
Deliver projects supporting a cleaner, more reliable, and more equitable energy future
n

Requirements
n
n
15+ years of experience in power systems or grid connection, or an equivalent mix of experience aligned with grid advisory and modelling work
n
Experience in consulting, utilities, developers, or operations
n
Strong capability in grid connection modelling
n
Experience with PSS®E, PSCAD, PowerFactory, or equivalent tools
n
Understanding of generation control systems
n
Relevant electrical engineering qualifications
n




RPEQ registration or willingness to obtain
n
Collaborative and supportive leadership style
n
Willingness to travel occasionally
n
Ability to support site-based roles when needed
n
