Are you an accounting professional with experience in payroll accounting, wage analysis, and financial reporting looking for your next opportunity? Foot Locker Asia Pacific is seeking a Payroll Accountant to join our team on a fixed-term contract until July **** as a leave cover. In this role, you will be responsible for recording payroll-related activities in the General Ledger, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining reconciled accounts. You'll also support wage budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis while partnering with key stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities
n
n
Manage month-end and year-end payroll accounting activities, including accruals and journal entries
n
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for payroll-related accounts
n
Deliver wage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
n
Provide KPI reporting and workforce cost insights to business stakeholders
n
Calculate and reconcile bonus payments and other wage-related costs
n
Support audits and ensure compliance with SOX and internal controls
n
Partner with HR, FP&A;, Payroll Operations,



and other teams on payroll-related accounting matters
n
Identify process improvements and efficiency opportunities
n
n
Qualifications
n
n
3–5 years' experience in accounting, management accounting, financial analysis, or a similar role
n
Experience with payroll accounting, wage reconciliations, workforce cost analysis, and payroll-related financial reporting
n
Understanding of payroll data and how it impacts financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting outcomes
n
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience handling large data sets
n
Advanced Excel skills
n
Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented
n
Robust communication skills and a collaborative mindset
