Delaware North Australia is hiring casual Commis Chef's to join our fast‐paced team at Adelaide Airport. As a Commis Chef, you will work alongside experienced senior chefs, help prepare high‐quality dishes in a high-volume kitchen, and follow set recipes, presentation standards and food safety guidelines. What you will do?
n
n
Prepare a variety of dishes in a high-volume production setting
n
Follow recipes for menu preparation, ensuring adherence to cooking guidelines and standards
n
Execute food preparation tasks with a focus on presentation
n
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
n




Conduct temperature and quality checks, manage cross-contamination to ensure WHS compliance
n

More about you
n
n
Previous experience as a Commis Chef
n
Minimum Level 3 Certificate in Commercial Cookery
n
Solid background in kitchen operations
n
A passion for food and creative flair
n
Demonstrated track record meeting financial targets for food and labor costs
n
Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster
n
n
