We're looking for a Casual Receptionist to join the team at ****SMILES Gladstone.
n
You'll be at the centre of the practice, welcoming patients, managing appointments, answering enquiries and helping the team stay organised throughout the day. With a broad range of dental services, you'll have plenty of variety and the opportunity to build your knowledge in a busy healthcare environment.

Job Description
n
This is a casual opportunity with availability Monday to Saturday, with typical shifts between 7:45am and 5:15pm.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Welcoming patients and creating a warm first impression
n
Managing appointment bookings and keeping the diary organised
n
Answering calls and helping patients with enquiries
n
Processing payments, health fund claims and general reception administration
n
Keeping patient information accurate and up to date
n
Supporting the dental team with day-to-day administrative tasks
n
Helping the reception area stay organised and welcoming
n
Working with the wider team to keep the day running smoothly
n
n
Qualifications
n
What you'll bring:
n
n
Previous reception, customer service or administration experience
n
A friendly and confident communication style
n
Robust organisation and attention to detail
n
The ability to multitask and stay calm when the reception gets busy
n
Confidence speaking with a wide range of patients
n
A professional and approachable manner
n




Dental or medical reception experience is highly regarded, but not essential
