Ongoing, full time role – 80 hours per fortnight with a Monthly ADO | job share considered

Parkville location, with multiple transport options at our doorstep

Up to $106,906 (pro-rata for part time) base + higher qualification allowance (if eligible) + + salary packaging + super + 5 weeks annual leave

About the team
n
The Pharmacy team at Peter Mac plays a key role in supporting high quality patient care, incorporating all facets of innovative clinical pharmacy practice. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, the pharmacy team provides a comprehensive patient-focused service for all Peter Mac patients, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of all treatments, including clinical trials. With a strong focus on innovation, quality, and collaboration, the team contributes directly to advancing cancer treatment through research and improving outcomes - keeping patient care at the centre of everything we do.

About the role
n
As a Grade 2 Pharmacist, you will have the opportunity to acquire an intricate understanding of, and develop specialty practice in, ambulatory and ward-based cancer pharmacy services,
as well as cleanroom operations. This may also include the development of directed projects and involvement in ongoing educational programs. You will also enjoy working in a busy, team-based environment when striving towards providing excellent patient care.

In conjunction with other members of the team, you will:

Assess, monitor and provide appropriate drug therapy advice for individual patients
n
Maintain accurate patient and dispensing records
n
Uphold excellence in pharmacy standards and practice
n
Ensure compliance with legislative requirements, regulations, policies, and quality standards
n
n

About you
n
You will be someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who is able to build strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

You'll bring with you:

AHPRA registration, or be eligible for registration.
n
Well-developed organisation and prioritisation skills.
n
Previous experience in oncology pharmacy practice is highly desirable.
