Fixed Term ANUM Contract - 32 hours per fortnight

The successful candidate will return to their substantive position upon completion of the fixed-term contract, unless required to return earlier due to the incumbent resuming their position.

About the Role
n
As the ANUM, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the Nurse Unit Manager with the day-to-day coordination and delivery of high-quality care in a fast-paced urgent care setting. You'll lead by example, mentor junior staff, and ensure efficient patient flow while fostering a positive, safe, and collaborative workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Support and collaborate with the Nurse Unit Manager in clinical and operational leadership
n
Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in line with best practices
n
Coordinate staffing and patient flow to ensure timely and effective service delivery
n
Promote continuous improvement and contribute to staff development and education
n
Act as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff
n
n
About You
n
You're an experienced, compassionate, and motivated nurse leader with a passion for urgent care and the ability to remain calm under pressure. You thrive in quick-moving environments,
inspire confidence in your team, and are always focused on delivering exceptional care.
n
You will have:
n
n
Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
n
Post Graduate Certificate in Critical Care Nursing or equivalent, or working towards.
n
Advanced Life Support/Paediatric Advanced Life Support competent.
n
Clinical experience in the relevant specialty including Triage experience.
n
Strong leadership and communication skills
n
A desire to make a difference in a regional healthcare setting
n
Commitment to professional growth and development in leadership.
n
