Are you a reliable and passionate cook looking for a rewarding role in aged care? Respect Aged Care is seeking a Part-Time Food Services Cook to join our team, working 75 hours per fortnight.
n
In this role, you will help create a warm, homely dining experience for our residents while preparing nutritious, high-quality meals as part of a supportive hospitality team. The successful candidate must be available to work Wednesday through Sunday across a variety of shifts and have previous aged care experience, along with a sound knowledge of commercial cookery. Pastry experience is highly desirable.

As Food Service Cook you will:
n
n
Prepare and serve high-quality meals and beverages that meet residents' dietary and nutritional needs.
n
Collaborate with residents, dietitians, Registered Nurses, and management on menu planning.
n
Monitor stock levels and order supplies in line with menu plans and budget requirements.
n
Maintain food safety standards through effective implementation of the Food Safety Program (FSP).
n
Ensure a clean, safe, and well‐organised kitchen while managing workload independently and assisting with other relevant duties as required.

About You
n
You'll thrive with us if you have:
n
n
Trade Cook Certificate (or equivalent), including Food Handling and current Food Safety Supervisor certification.
n
Proven hospitality experience, including aged care cooking.
n
Leadership experience in a kitchen or food services environment, with Food Services Supervisor accreditation.
n
Intermediate computer skills and the ability to meet Aged Care Worker Screening legislative requirements.
n
Current National Police Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
n
